Description

Cheesy mozzarella balls coated in crispy breadcrumbs, topped with olives to look like spooky eyeballs, and air fried to perfection. Served with marinara sauce for the ultimate Halloween party snack.


Ingredients

12 mozzarella balls or string cheese chunks

½ cup flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon Italian seasoning

Black and green olives, sliced

Cooking spray

1 cup marinara sauce


Instructions

1. Place flour, eggs, and breadcrumb mixture in separate bowls.

2. Roll mozzarella in flour, dip in egg, then coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat for crunch.

3. Freeze for 20 to 30 minutes.

4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Spray mozzarella balls and place in basket.

5. Air fry 6 to 8 minutes until golden, turning halfway.

6. Top with olive slices to make eyeballs.

7. Serve with marinara sauce.

Notes

Freeze before air frying to prevent cheese from melting out. Double coat with breadcrumbs for crunch. Serve immediately for gooey cheese texture.
