  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Baked Pears with Feta, Honey, and Cranberries are a simple yet elegant dessert featuring tender roasted pears topped with creamy feta, toasted nuts, and dried cranberries, all drizzled with warm honey. A cozy sweet-savory dish perfect for holidays or any fall gathering.

Ingredients

Scale

2 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored

2 tablespoons butter (optional, for roasting)

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

2 tablespoons dried cranberries

23 tablespoons honey (plus extra for drizzling)

Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Fresh rosemary (optional garnish)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Halve pears and scoop out the cores. Place in a baking dish cut side up. Brush with melted butter if using.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until pears are tender but not mushy.

Remove from oven. Top each pear half with feta, chopped nuts, and cranberries. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon if using.

Return to oven for 5 more minutes, or broil for 1-2 minutes to caramelize toppings.

Serve warm with additional honey and rosemary garnish if desired.

Notes

Use goat cheese instead of feta for a creamier flavor, or swap honey for maple syrup.

Add a pinch of cardamom or nutmeg for warmth.

Great paired with ice cream or Greek yogurt for extra richness.
