Description
A creamy, comforting gnocchi skillet with smoky bacon, tender broccoli, and a garlicky herb Boursin cheese sauce. Quick, easy, and absolutely indulgent.
Ingredients
1 lb potato gnocchi
4 strips bacon, chopped
2 cups broccoli florets
1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp butter
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
2. Add broccoli with a splash of water, cover, and steam for 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. Melt butter in the skillet, add gnocchi, and cook 2–3 minutes until lightly golden.
4. Stir in broth, cream, Boursin cheese, and Parmesan until smooth.
5. Return broccoli and bacon to skillet, toss until coated.
6. Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra creaminess, add more heavy cream.
Substitute bacon with pancetta for an Italian twist, or make it vegetarian by omitting bacon and adding mushrooms.
