1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup warm milk
4 tbsp melted butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp nutmeg
Caramel Sauce:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 tbsp butter
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Assembly:
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar + 1 tsp cinnamon (for sprinkling)
Instructions
1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy.
2. Add butter, egg, vanilla, and salt. Mix in flour until dough forms.
3. Knead 5–7 minutes and let rise 1 hour.
4. Make caramel by heating butter, brown sugar, and cream until smooth; add vanilla.
5. Sauté apples with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon until tender.
6. Roll dough into a rectangle, brush with butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, top with apples, and drizzle caramel.
7. Cut, stack, and layer in a loaf pan. Let rise 30 minutes.
8. Bake at 350°F for 30–35 minutes.
9. Cool 10 minutes, then drizzle with caramel and serve warm.
Notes
Use tart apples like Granny Smith for the best balance of sweetness. C
over with foil if browning too quickly.
For an extra treat, drizzle cream cheese icing instead of caramel.
