Description
This no-churn Cherry Garcia Ice Cream features a creamy vanilla base swirled with homemade cherry compote and studded with chopped dark chocolate. A cool, easy dessert perfect for summer indulgence.
Ingredients
– 2 cups heavy whipping cream
– 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1½ cups cherries, pitted and chopped
– 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
– 3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, cook cherries and sugar over medium heat for 5–7 minutes. Cool.
2. Whip the cream to stiff peaks.
3. Stir condensed milk and vanilla in a separate bowl.
4. Fold whipped cream into condensed milk mixture.
5. Fold in half of the cherry mixture and chopped chocolate.
6. Swirl in remaining cherries.
7. Pour into a loaf pan and freeze 6+ hours.
Notes
Use fresh or frozen cherries.
Cool cherry compote fully before adding.
Don’t over-whip the cream.
Swirl for a marble effect.
Store covered up to 2 weeks.
