Description
These Creamy Garlic Pork Chops are what weeknight dinner dreams are made of! Juicy, pan-seared pork chops are smothered in a rich, buttery garlic cream sauce that tastes like something from a fancy restaurant—but you can make it right at home in just 30 minutes. The golden crust on the pork chops locks in flavor, while the creamy sauce is perfect for spooning over mashed potatoes, rice, or even pasta. This is comfort food at its finest!
Ingredients
– 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
– 1 teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon black pepper
– 1 tablespoon olive oil
– 3 tablespoons butter
– 5 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup heavy cream
– ½ cup chicken broth
– ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sear the pork chops for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant (do not burn).
4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
5. Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Simmer for 2 more minutes to heat through.
7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides!
Notes
– Bone-in pork chops can be used, but you may need to increase the cooking time slightly.
– If the sauce gets too thick, add a splash of chicken broth to loosen it up.
– Serve with mashed potatoes, steamed rice, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
– Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
