  • Yield: 12 slices 1x

Description

Dill pickle focaccia bread topped with garlic, dill, mozzarella cheese, and tangy pickles. Crispy, fluffy, and packed with flavor, this bread is perfect as a snack, side, or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons salt

2 teaspoons sugar

2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast

1 1/2 cups warm water

1/4 cup olive oil plus more for drizzling

2 cloves garlic minced

1 1/2 cups sliced dill pickles

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped

Flaky sea salt for topping

Instructions

Whisk warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

Stir in flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until dough forms.

Knead 5 minutes until smooth. Place in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise 1–2 hours until doubled.

Line baking sheet with parchment and drizzle with olive oil. Stretch dough to fit pan. Cover and let rise 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Dimple dough with fingers and drizzle with more olive oil.

Sprinkle garlic, pickles, cheese, and dill on top. Press gently into dough.

Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly. Sprinkle with flaky salt before serving.

Notes

Pat pickles dry before topping to prevent sogginess.

Let dough rise fully for fluffy focaccia.

Store leftovers in airtight container and reheat in oven or air fryer.

Experiment with different cheeses or toppings.
