Description
Honey Vanilla Banana Bread is a moist and naturally sweet quick bread made with ripe bananas, honey, and vanilla. Perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup melted butter or coconut oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon milk or cream
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. Mash bananas in a bowl, then whisk in honey, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
5. Pour batter into loaf pan and smooth top.
6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to rack.
8. If desired, whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over cooled loaf.
Notes
Use overripe bananas for best flavor.
Add nuts, chocolate chips, or spices for variation.
Store leftovers in an airtight container.
