Description
Spicy and creamy homemade Jalapeño Popper Pizza made with a cream cheese base, gooey mozzarella, sharp cheddar, and fresh jalapeños on golden pizza crust. Inspired by the classic appetizer, this pizza is bold, cheesy, and perfect for pizza night or game-day parties.
Ingredients
1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for sharper flavor)
2–3 fresh jalapeños, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Chives or green onions, chopped, for garnish
Crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)
Optional: crispy bacon crumbles, hot honey drizzle, or pickled jalapeños
Instructions
Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone inside if using.
Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to desired thickness and shape. Transfer to baking sheet or stone.
Brush dough with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder.
Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the dough as the base sauce.
Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Distribute sliced jalapeños evenly across the pizza.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
Remove from oven and garnish with chopped chives or green onions. Sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.
Let rest 2 minutes before slicing, then serve hot.
Notes
Use room-temperature cream cheese for smooth spreading and even melting.
Remove jalapeño seeds for less spice, or leave them in for extra heat.
Pickled jalapeños can be substituted for a tangy twist.
Add crispy bacon or a drizzle of hot honey for extra layers of flavor.
Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer to maintain crisp crust.
