  • Author: Melissa
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 cup 1x

Description

A creamy, tangy spread made with Greek yogurt, lemon, and dill — perfect as a dip, sandwich spread, or sauce for grilled meats and vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp lemon zest

1 small garlic clove, minced

2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp black pepper

Optional: pinch of crushed red pepper or sumac

Instructions

1. In a bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, zest, garlic, dill, salt, and pepper until smooth.

2. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.

3. Spoon into a jar, drizzle with olive oil, and top with extra dill.

4. Chill for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for a rich texture.

If using regular yogurt, strain it first to remove excess liquid.

Store refrigerated for up to 5 days.
