Description
A rich and creamy lasagna layered with meat sauce, a cheesy cream mixture, and plenty of mozzarella. It’s the ultimate comfort food!
Ingredients
– 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 lb Italian sausage
– 24 oz marinara sauce
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup sour cream
– 2 cups ricotta cheese
– 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 egg
– 1/2 tsp garlic powder
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Brown beef and sausage in a skillet. Drain fat and stir in marinara sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.
2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta, egg, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and 1 cup mozzarella.
3. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer 4 noodles, half the cheese mixture, half the meat sauce. Repeat.
4. Top with remaining noodles, meat sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
5. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 15-20 minutes.
6. Rest 10-15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
– Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
– Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
– Use homemade marinara for extra flavor.
