Ingredients
For the Cream Base:
– 8 oz cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup heavy whipping cream
– ¼ cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Fruit:
– 4-5 fresh peaches, thinly sliced
For the Crunchy Topping:
– ½ cup phyllo shards (toasted and crumbled) or toasted sliced almonds
– Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
3. Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
4. Spoon the cream mixture into a serving dish and layer fresh peach slices on top.
5. Sprinkle with toasted phyllo or almonds. Garnish with mint leaves.
6. Chill for 15-20 minutes or serve immediately for maximum crunch.
Notes
– Use nectarines or plums if peaches aren’t available.
– For a shortcut, use canned peaches (drained and patted dry).
