Mini sandwiches filled with crispy homemade crab cakes, fresh lettuce, tomato, and a spicy remoulade sauce. Perfect for parties or seafood lovers!
Ingredients
For the Crab Cakes:
– 1 pound lump crab meat
– ⅓ cup mayonnaise
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
– ½ cup breadcrumbs
– 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
– 1 tablespoon lemon juice
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 2 tablespoons butter or oil
For the Sliders:
– 8 slider buns
– Lettuce leaves
– Tomato slices
For the Sauce:
– ⅓ cup mayonnaise
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– 1 teaspoon hot sauce
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix crab meat, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon, Worcestershire, Old Bay, breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
2. Form into 8 small patties and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
3. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook crab cakes for 3-4 minutes per side until golden.
4. Mix sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
5. Toast slider buns. Assemble sliders with lettuce, tomato, crab cake, and sauce.
Notes
– Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
– Add pickles or extra hot sauce for variety.
– Bake crab cakes at 400°F for 12-15 minutes for a lighter option.
