Description
Adorable pumpkin-themed chocolate-covered apples decorated with orange candy coating, pretzel stick stems, and green candy melt vines. Perfect for Halloween and fall parties.
Ingredients
8 medium apples
16 oz orange candy melts or white chocolate with orange food coloring
2 tsp coconut oil or shortening
8 pretzel rods, cut in half
1/2 cup green candy melts or royal icing
Optional sprinkles, glitter, or candy leaves
Instructions
1. Wash and dry apples completely.
2. Insert pretzel rods into tops of apples as stems.
3. Melt orange candy melts with coconut oil until smooth.
4. Dip apples in melted coating and let excess drip.
5. Place on parchment-lined tray to set.
6. Melt green candy melts and pipe vines around stems.
7. Add optional decorations and let set before serving.
Notes
For a more realistic pumpkin effect, swirl orange with white chocolate or add candy leaves.
Use unwaxed apples for best results.
