Description

Seafood Lasagna with Lobster is a luxurious twist on a classic comfort dish. Layers of tender pasta, rich creamy sauce, succulent lobster meat, and a blend of cheeses come together in a decadent baked casserole perfect for holidays, dinner parties, or any special occasion.

Ingredients

– 9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup chopped onion

– 1/2 pound lobster meat, cooked and chopped

– 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped

– 1/2 cup scallops (optional)

– 2 tablespoons butter

– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

– 2 cups whole milk

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/2 cup ricotta cheese

– 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or seafood seasoning)

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.

3. Add shrimp, lobster, and scallops (if using). Cook for 3-4 minutes until just cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Slowly whisk in milk, stirring constantly until thickened.

5. Add Parmesan, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Remove from heat. Fold in ricotta cheese and mix until smooth.

6. In a greased 9×13 baking dish, spread a small amount of sauce on the bottom.

7. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, seafood mixture, sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat for 3 layers, finishing with sauce and cheese on top.

8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.

9. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

Use fresh or high-quality frozen lobster for best flavor.

Don’t overcook the seafood—it continues to cook while baking.

Let the lasagna rest before slicing so it holds together.

Add spinach or mushrooms for extra layers of flavor.

Mozzarella can be swapped with fontina or provolone.
