Description
Bold and fiery chili garlic noodles tossed in a spicy, garlicky sauce with soy, sesame, and fresh garnishes. A quick 15-minute recipe perfect for busy weeknights or late-night cravings.
Ingredients
8 oz noodles (spaghetti, rice noodles, or soba)
3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
2 tbsp chili paste (sambal oelek, gochujang, or preferred chili sauce)
2 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lime juice
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Chopped scallions, sesame seeds, sliced chili peppers for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil and sesame oil in skillet. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
3. Stir in chili paste, soy sauce, vinegar, and honey. Simmer 1–2 minutes.
4. Toss noodles in sauce until fully coated.
5. Garnish with scallions, sesame seeds, and fresh chili slices. Serve hot.
Notes
Adjust spice level by using more or less chili paste.
Add vegetables or protein for a heartier dish.
A spoonful of peanut butter creates creamy chili garlic noodles.
