Texas Roadhouse-Style Baked Salmon: Sweet, Savory, and Buttery Perfection

  • Author: Melissa
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

This Texas Roadhouse-Style Baked Salmon is buttery, sweet, and savory with a hint of garlic and lemon. It’s perfectly baked until flaky and caramelized, just like the restaurant version—only easier and faster to make at home.

Ingredients

– 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on or skinless

– 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

– 2 tablespoons brown sugar

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice (plus lemon wedges for serving)

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.

2. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down if using skin-on. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

3. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar, minced garlic, and lemon juice.

4. Brush or spoon the glaze evenly over the salmon fillets.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

6. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes at the end for a caramelized glaze. Watch closely to prevent burning.

7. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

– For extra sauce, double the butter and brown sugar mixture.

– Swap parsley for dill or chives for a different flavor.

– Use honey instead of brown sugar for a honey butter version.

– Works well with trout or Arctic char too!
