A golden, buttery grilled cheese sandwich filled with roasted turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and melted cheese the perfect comfort food twist on holiday flavors.
Ingredients
2 slices bread (sourdough, country white, or whole grain)
2–3 slices roasted turkey
2–3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
2–3 slices cheese (brie, cheddar, Swiss, or provolone)
1–2 tablespoons butter, softened
Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish
Instructions
Butter one side of each bread slice.
Place one slice butter side down, layer with cheese, turkey, cranberry sauce, and more cheese.
Top with second slice, butter side up.
Heat skillet over medium heat and cook 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts.
Slice and serve warm.
Notes
Layer cheese on both sides of the filling for best melt and structure.
Keep heat moderate to avoid burning bread before cheese melts.
Warm turkey slightly before adding for even heating.
